Alecia moved from Toronto in 2020 where she had lived for the past 13 years working in hospitality, and the corporate world and getting her business diploma during this time. As her interests always were in health & wellness she decided a career as an RMT was her next move in life. Quitting her corporate 9-5 and becoming a full-time student at CCMH and a Graduate of Kikawwa College in Toronto ON, Oct 2020 with a 2200-hour diploma.
She is a person who enjoys maintaining a healthy active lifestyle and helping others achieve their goals in this area, working with clients to help with stress management, athletic musculoskeletal disorders, and pain management to assist in maintaining and improving the functionality of daily activities. She is trained in various modalities, her biggest focuses being deep Tissue, myofascial release, relaxation and PNF stretch with future goals to become certified in cupping, active release and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilizations.
In her off time, you can find her running her first half marathon, this past summer 2021, at the gym weight training, walking around the city with her pug, biking along the many Calgary trails or possibly training for another half marathon (if she decides to come out of retirement).
