Andrea Sobkow obtained her training from the McKay Massage and Hydrotherapy Program at the McKay Career Training Inc., Saskatoon. In 2007, she graduated with a 2200-hour RMT Diploma. Also, she has been certified in the following; Muscle Fascia Cupping, Hot Stone Deep Tissue (2 Levels), and Soft Tissue Release Techniques.
Before deciding to move to Calgary, Andrea was employed for six years at Stonebridge Chiropractic in Saskatoon. Before that, she was self-employed at Lakewood Massage Therapy, also in Saskatoon.
While in Saskatchewan, Andrea was a member of MTAS (Practicing Member of Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan). Presently, she is a member of MTAA (Practicing Member of Massage Therapist Association of Alberta).
Growing up, Andrea participated in sports, on cheer teams ,and in various styles of dance. After graduating from high school, she moved to Saskatoon and danced for three years with the Yevshan Folk Ballet. At the same time, she cheered with the Hilltops and attended the U of S. Wanting more of a challenge, Andrea went on to cheer for six seasons with the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team. Being physically active has been and continues to be one of her main interests.
Andrea has now relocated to Calgary and is enjoying what the city has to offer.
